Conference Venue – The National House of Vinohrady

The Neo-renaissance building - National House of Vinohrady was built in 1894. This building is situated at Náměstí Míru - it is a square in the centre of Prague, close to Wenceslas Square, the main Railway station and the D1 traffic artery. It is only 30 min by car from Prague International airport. It's also very easy to get there by public transportation. You can take metro line A – station Namesti Miru or 8 different tram lines. The location of National House of Vinohrady is one of it's great advantages, it's right in the city centre and therefore it is an ideal place for social and cultural events.

The biggest and most spectacular historic hall in the National House is named after Russian poet Vladimir V. Majakovsky. The premises are air conditioned and Majakovsky Hall holds a capacity of 773 sitting persons. The second hall, called the Rais Hall, was designed as a theatre; it can hold 320 sitting persons. Third and the smallest hall is the Social Hall, originally a winter garden in Art Nouveau style. As the smallest it can only hold up to 220 sitting persons.
